Job Position – Senior Accountant

A UAE-based holding group operating across regulated, government-linked, and security-critical business environments is seeking to onboard a seasoned Senior Accountant ideally from Services, Trading or Manufacturing industry to manage company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with strong focus on project costing, cost control and profitability analysis. This post has to be on boarded urgently. Therefore, priority will be given to those who are able to join immediately and have UAE/GCC experience.
Key responsibilities include:
– Prepare the annual budget in coordination with the Group Finance Manager and Department Heads.
– Collect and analyze financial data from departments to produce accurate monthly PNL landing and forecasts
– Develop and maintain financial models and management reports.
– Implement and monitor accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
– Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
– Prepare treasury reports and arrange fund transfers as required.
– Review and process monthly payroll through WPS in coordination with HR.
– Ensure HRMS financial data accuracy.
– Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities (including FTA).
– Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
Mandatory requirements (non-negotiable):
– Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
– Minimum 5 -7 years experience with at least 3 years’ experience as Senior Accountant or similar role in the UAE.
– Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIA, or CFA).
– Financial Planning & Analysis
– Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
– Cash flow management and forecasting
– Knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulations
