Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – Al Barakah Holding
To manage accounting, treasury, reporting, payroll, fixed assets, and financial control activities across group companies.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor bank positions, cash flow, working capital, loans, PDCs, and client outstanding balances.
-Manage bank reconciliations, cash transactions, petty cash, spot checks, and banking relationships.
-Monitor and reconcile intercompany/associate company transactions, balances, settlements, and funding requirements.
-Prepare monthly Balance Sheets, P&L statements, schedules, variance and ratio analysis.
-Support month-end closing, statutory/interim audits, audit requirements, and financial reporting.
-Monitor investments, project costs, owners’ current accounts, capital injections, and drawings.
-Review accruals, provisions, closing JVs, utilities, insurance, rent, AMC, and contract renewals.
-Prepare and review monthly payroll, including overtime, deductions, benefits, final settlements, and cost-center allocations.
-Reconcile payroll-related accounts, CBD/E-Dirham transactions, and prepare MIS reports.
-Manage fixed assets, including purchases, depreciation, transfers, disposals, scrap sales, and physical verification.
-Coordinate with F&B, HR, Admin, Legal, and Accounts to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
-Ensure transactions comply with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Education & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a group of companies, hospitality/F&B, trading, construction, or similar environment.
-Strong experience in banking, cash management, intercompany accounting, payroll, month-end closing, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
-Good knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, audit requirements, and financial controls.
-Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
-ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
-Strong analytical, reconciliation, reporting, and communication skills.
