Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – SVRS General Trading

Reports to: CFO
Location: Dubai, UAE
Will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of accounting information across multiple entities within the group. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting, intercompany reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting group consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Record and maintain accounting transactions for assigned entities
Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and trial balances
Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations
Ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues
2. Intercompany Accounting
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
Ensure accurate elimination entries during consolidation
Coordinate with other entities for alignment
Issue invoices for intercompany cross-charges
3. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support group-level consolidation and reporting
4. Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file VAT and statutory returns
Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies
Support audits by providing required documentation
5. Systems & Process Management
Maintain accurate records in ERP/accounting systems
Ensure consistency in accounting processes and chart of accounts
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
6. Coordination & Support
Liaise with banks, auditors, and stakeholders
Support month-end closing and reporting
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Experience
8–10 years of accounting experience (preferably in multi-entity environments)
Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, consolidation, and IFRS
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
