Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – Rock and Up Investment
Duties:
– Book and record financial transactions (receivables & payables), reconcile sub-ledgers and ledgers, and financial statements.
– Assess and strengthen internal controls, identify and mitigate financial risks, and recommend process improvements.
– Prepare periodical reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly,).
– Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
– Mentor, train, and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
– Contribute to the development and implementation of new or improved accounting systems and procedures.
– Prepare, support, and coordinate annual external audits of the company’s finances.
Qualifications:
– At least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
– Experience with UAE VAT regulations.
– Experience with Sage / QuickBooks / ERP
– Master’s Degree or Professional Accounting certification
– Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) in English.
