Job Position – Senior Civil Engineer – Chief Program Office (CPO)

?Key Responsibilities
– Technical leadership and oversight for civil/structural engineering.
– Review designs, calculations, specs, drawings, and submittals from consultants & contractors.
– Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces (civil, structural, MEP, architectural).
– In-depth knowledge of dynamic, blast, and seismic loadings & structural assessments.
– Support contractor management (evaluations, design reviews, RFIs, change management).
– Review construction methodologies, installation sequences, and constructability.
– Support project development: feasibility, scope, cost estimation, and risk mitigation.
– Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, codes, and quality.
– Participate in design reviews, site inspections, progress meetings, and risk assessments.
– Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout by resolving engineering issues.
– Prepare technical reports, engineering assessments, and stakeholder presentations.
?Minimum Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
– 8+ years experience in civil/structural engineering for industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
– Experience managing engineering deliverables & multidisciplinary interfaces.
– Strong knowledge of international civil and structural engineering codes/standards.
– Background with engineering consultants or EPC contractors.
?Preferred Qualifications
– Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, or equivalent registration.
– Experience in highly regulated industries (Nuclear, Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical).
– Experience in Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) design and/or construction preferred.
– Familiarity with QA, configuration management, and design change control.
