As a Senior Data Scientist you will support both research and development functions of the team to help design and implement a cutting-edge AI platform that can be applied to data from a variety of visual sensors (Color, IR, Multispectral, etc.) You will work with the team responsible that use machine learning to solve real-world problems in domains of Computer Vision, Natural Language Understanding, Speech Understanding, and Anomaly Detection.

  • End-to-end hands-on ownership of ML features and various projects.
  • Knowledge in developing algorithms in key areas in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
  • End-to-end hands-on ownership of DL/ML features and various projects.
  • Team-Player working closely with other colleagues while maintaining a clear vision of the value of our diverse offerings.
  • Passion for the latest cutting-edge AI technologies.

Professional Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience of software development.
  • Strong understanding of Deep Learning methods and practices.
  • Strong understanding of statistical learning techniques (Classification, Regression, Clustering).
  • Fast prototyping skills, including comprehensive feature integration during all cycles of development.
  • Excellent skills in software development in Python and C/C++.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with CV/ML libraries such as OpenCV, Scikit-learn, VLFEAT, Pillow
  • Experience with one Cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.

Bonus if you have

  • Experience in remote sensing and an understanding of multispectral and SAR imaging
  • Experience of TensorRT and GStreamer
  • Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with writing parallel code (multi-threading, asyncio, OpenMP, etc.)
  • Experience with CUDA.
  • Published Research in a top CV/ML conference or journal
  • Participated in Data Science challenges, such as Kaggle.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, CSD, CSM, SA, ASE
  • Open Source contribution

Education:

Satisfy one of the following:

  • Ph.D. degree with concentration in CV and ML and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Masters degree with 5+ years’ experience of developing CV, AI and ML solutions
