Job Position – Senior Facilities Engineer
Company Name – Al Bonian FM
Location: Dubai, UAE.
To join team for a prestigious government project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in hard services, proven experience managing multiple sites, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage all mechanical hard services operations for multiple government facilities, including HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, plumbing systems, firefighting systems, and other mechanical infrastructure.
-Ensure all mechanical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with contractual KPIs, SLAs, and government
regulations.
-Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs across multiple sites.
-Supervise, mentor, and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, and technical staff.
-Manage and monitor contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
-Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of facilities and contractors.
-Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and site progress reports.
-Review and approve contractor invoices, variations, and technical submissions.
-Coordinate with government stakeholders, providing technical guidance and operational updates.
-Lead emergency response activities related to mechanical systems as required.
-Identify opportunities for energy optimization, cost savings, and operational efficiency improvements.
-Effectively manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met under pressure.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Minimum 8+ years of experience in Facilities Management within the UAE, preferably on government projects
-Proven expertise in hard services operations and contractor management
-Strong knowledge of HVAC, building services, and MEP systems
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites/projects efficiently
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English
-Valid UAE driving license preferred
-Immediate joiners are highly preferred
