Job Position – Senior Microsoft Engineer

You will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Microsoft server estate, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the seamless operation of server-based services. If you are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in enterprise-level Microsoft environments and possess expertise in server migrations and troubleshooting, we invite you to apply and become a key player in our technology team.

Duties and responsibilities:
-To manage and maintain the Microsoft server estate, either virtual or physical
-To provide analysis and recommendations for the server estate
-To provide the technical expertise for the migration of server-based services from Site to Site
-To provide leadership and be technical lead for any major outage that happens with client’s server systems or server applications.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
-6 years’ experience in the below skillsets
-Microsoft Server Estate: Windows Server 2012 – Current; Microsoft Exchange 2016 – Current, SharePoint 2016, etc
-Managing enterprise Microsoft Windows Server deployments (>500 servers)
-Live Service Migration: Moving workloads that are public facing (e.g. ecommerce sites) between data enters or from DC to Cloud IaaS platform.
-Enterprise core networking management, upgrade, replacement, support
-Has worked with 3rd party vendors in the delivery of Data Centre equipment deployment and migration services Server backup and admin.
-Application troubleshooting and resolution of Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications
-Rapid deployment of Windows servers
-Background in virtual Microsoft server estates on VMware
-Administration and management of Active directory, group policy, DNS, DHCP
-DC technologies: Enterprise Microsoft, backups, DR and BC, Endpoint protection
-Monitoring large Windows estates
-Patching, proactive maintenance
-Exchange Enterprise and SQL Clusters
-Desirable: Windows server upgrade and migration.

Must have Experience:
Hands on experience – data centre Migration, Microsoft server stack, Office 365, Public cloud providers, Nutanix
Migration/Backup/Cloud Experience
