Job Position – Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator
Company Name – Ebonite Decor
With a strong background in the fit out and interiors field, particularly within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of relevant experience in estimating and quantity surveying for Retail & F&B Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-All stages of an estimate including project selection, estimate organization, take-off, pricing, review and closeout.
-Communicate project progress/status with Management.
-Prepare, analyze and maintain accurate quantities and thorough take offs from plans.
-Manage and co-ordinate Fit Out projects.
-Estimate the cost of materials, time, labor, and equipment for construction projects, using contract bids, quotations, drawings and specifications
-Decide how the tendering procedure will work, recommend tenders and conduct negotiations.
-Keep track of the project’s costs and budget
-Work with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors
-Estimating costs for structural, electrical or mechanical construction projects
-Have a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of construction and construction methods.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
-Use computer spreadsheets and databases as well as estimating, take-off, and scheduling software.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating and quantity surveying, with a focus on fit out and interior projects in the UAE.
