Job Position – Senior Service Engineer
Company Name – United Gulf
Location: Doha, Qatar
Requirements:
-Proven experience with Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) including Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
-Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a related industry.
-Ability to plan and perform Predictive, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on both in-house and on-site equipment fleets.
-Practical experience working with brands like Haulotte, Komatsu, JLG, Genie, Palazzani, Bobcat and other similar equipment manufacturers.
-Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex hydraulic, mechanical and electrical system faults.
-Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
-Provide technical guidance, mentorship and support to technicians on the floor.
-Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams and engineering drawings to guide repairs.
-Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
-Liaise with customers professionally, providing clear explanations of technical issues and solutions.
-Valid Qatar Driving License (Preferred).
Qualifications & Skills:
– Proven experience as a Service Engineer or Senior Service Engineer in a similar technical role, with strong knowledge of MEWPs and their components.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant technical field.
– Strong technical expertise in hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with customers and internal teams.
– Effective communication and reporting abilities.
– Team oriented with a proactive work approach.
