About the job

The Senior Technical Engineer is responsible for the design, development and execution of E-Commerce related software solutions.

This role will provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our E-Commerce products (omni-channel web and mobile solution), evaluate tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.

The Senior Technical Engineer will design and build web and mobile solutions and interpret business requirements to provide optimal solution, and troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-Architect, design and code highly available and scalable solutions for all aspects of an emerging E-Commerce website

– Wholly own all technical content (architecture, design and code), integrity, and quality of the solutions for all aspects of the eCommerce website

-Lead business and technical stakeholders on solution feasibility and conceptual designs

-Works with the Project Manager to deliver phases to cover architecture gaps in support with project objectives within project schedule and costs.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

-5+ years of professional experience Senior Engineer with E-Commerce, order management systems, warehouse management systems, delivery systems or closely related areas required

-Hands-on architecture, technical design, coding experience of e-commerce platform, web and mobile solutions with integration experience with broad Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) package required

-Proficient in technologies micro services, SOA architecture, messaging, object-oriented programming, enterprise service bus – indicative technologies ES6 Javascript, Vercel, Cloudflare, PHP, VueJS with Vuex, React.Js, Node.Js, Magento 2, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, NodeJs, SQL, PWA Technologies, MYSQL, MSSQL. NoSQL, Redis and Memcached, Strapi, RabitMQ, Dynamics Business Central, Algolia, Tridion, Xamarin, React Native, Flutter. Having experience for native android and IOS development, Kotlin and Swift is a plus.

-Domain knowledge of Retail industry required

-Proven experience with IT application architecture and design methodologies across multiple platforms required

-Thorough understanding of and experience with multiple SDLC methods required

-Knowledge of eCommerce platforms required

-Demonstrated highly successful problem-solving skills, ability to visualize and solve issues before they happen required

-Strong facilitation/negotiation skills required

-Ability to interface with and influence people at multiple levels within the organization required

-Ability to translate technical ideas/designs to business language require
