About the job
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to customer service, note down exactly the jobs required, provide estimate with job explanations, prepare job cards, follow up the jobs in the workshop, take approvals for additional repairs, inform any delays, deliver the vehicle and explain the invoice to customers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the checklist and/or appraisal form is accurately completed and acknowledged at the time of receiving vehicles, mentioning all the options & features of the vehicle from either showroom inventory, third party dealers, inter-company, end users, for consignment purposes, etc.
- Prepare quotation as per the check list and mention recommended jobs aside from the check list.
- Assign duties to respective Team leaders once the quotation is approved form concern authorities.
- Encode the vehicle details in the system for the reference of Accounts Department.
- Order and follow up on the parts from the approved suppliers; verify the invoices and seek for Senior Management approval and accordingly process it.
- Confirm the delivery date of vehicles to the customers; ensure to keep them updated with work in progress.
- Promote/upsell the accessories through Sales Executives to improve the Sales.
- Coordinate with external service centres for required jobs such as ceramic coating, upholsteries, wheel balancing, etc.
- Monitor the work in progress of the workshop to ensure timely completion and quality.
- Facilitate the workshop requirements by ordering paints, chemicals and other service supplies as and when required.
- Monitor daily work flow in the Service Division, solving technical issues, upselling the services in coordination with Sales Executives and Customers, quotation and parts approvals, etc.
- Check the inventories on weekly basis and submit the report to Accounts Department.
- Ensure the workshop is organized and well maintained.
- Ensure that all workers are complying with the Health and Safety regulations during entire workshop activity.
- Ensure to do proper pre delivery inspections prior to each delivery.
- Submit job card list report on daily basis and stock inventory report on weekly basis to Accounts department.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors of sister companies for required jobs of car deliveries, and other job requests.
- Responsible to safely manage the car keys.
- Monitor employee duties and evaluate their performance regularly and highlight poor performance to Human resources department for further actions.
20. Monitor employee absence, late marks, etc. and highlight to the Reporting Personnel.
- Monitor the equipment maintenance expiries (car lifts, machineries, etc.) and highlight concerns for renewal.
- Ensure sales targets are achieved in i.e., monthly, quarterly and annually.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ of professional experience in UAE
- Auto Mechanical Degree/Diploma
- Customer Service Quality
