We are looking for a Service Engineer for the Division Stationary Crushing & Screening who shall be responsible for supporting, growing, and developing the Crushing & Screening service and parts business for Mining customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with value-added services like commissioning, service, maintenance, maintenance schedule, trend analysis, troubleshooting, inventory management, and repair of Sandvik equipment as well as conduct training in equipment operation, service, and maintenance on regular basis to improve the competence level of the site team.
A key focus area is to retain the AM business in the mining segment, augment new business opportunities, train the site team, and develop and support the service team of Dealers in KSA.
Key Performance Areas
You will support, grow and develop the parts and service business by supporting the mining customers in KSA on a day-to-day basis by visiting and training them in service, operation, maintenance, inventory keeping and troubleshooting of Sandvik’s equipment. You will maintain a strong relationship with key mining customers in KSA. You will deliver commissioning and starting-up services for new equipment. You will continuously improve and update your knowledge concerning product development and technical innovation. You will ensure that the mining customers have access to the latest product technology enhancements and are aware of the latest developments for improved performance to gain more business advantage. You will carry out the dealer and customer training in equipment operation, service, and maintenance as well as offer technical advice in maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, and machine operation from time to time. You will provide feedback to Sandvik for a continually improved approach to the customers.
Your profile
The Service Engineer (Crushing & Screening) will report to the Crusting and Screening Manager for Territory Middle East. In this role, you will be mostly be working with Key Mining accounts in KSA.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a university degree in a technical area or equivalent. You have knowledge of Sandvik products, applications and the industry and can understand the needs of customers in KSA and are willing to travel to KSA. Travel within the Middle East region for about are 100-150 days per year as required.
As an individual, you will be self-motivated and possess excellent drive. In addition, you will be a strong team player who can build effective working relations. You will be articulate and possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across product areas as well as with customers and dealers.
Fluency in verbal and written English is important, and knowing other languages will be an asset.
