Job Position – Sr. Accountant
Company Name – AMIT International Group
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial statements.
Ensure timely posting of accounting transactions and proper documentation.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments.
Coordinate with internal departments, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and other applicable financial regulations.
Support internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good knowledge of UAE VAT and applicable accounting regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
UAE experience will be an advantage.
