Minimum Educational Requirements:          

Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil, Geodetic or Architecture

Diploma in Surveying

Minimum Experience:

5-7 years’ experience with at least 2 years dealing in land surveys demarcation

Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to verify/check land, marine and infrastructure surveys. This also includes review and provide feedback necessary in the processing of NOCs, coordinating with GIS staff in updating the information on plots., support in the preparation of Lease Drawings, Site Plans and Temporary Usage of Plot Drawings whenever needed, ensuring all submissions under Trakhees jurisdiction are complying with the rules and regulations outlined by Trakhees, Federal government and Government agencies and attending meetings and providing feedbacks and support in line with Trakhees vision, mission and roles and responsibilities.

Operational Responsibilities

• Adhere to the section procedures and process for efficient and smooth functioning of the section.
• Investigate, proposals for new developments.
• Identify opportunities by fieldwork to research information and strategies
• Support in the preparation of Lease Drawings and Site Plans pertaining to plots after interpreting data from various sources.
• Check/verify plot, marine and infrastructure demarcation on areas under Trakhees jurisdiction to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
• Measure different parameters on the land’s surface by using a variety of instruments and electronics, including the Global Positioning System (GPS)

·        Review daily submissions which requires planning input from service point of view and communicate service requirements.

·        Contribute on implementation of ISO procedures and requirements for Planning Section.

·        Ensure adherence to the service time line assigned for services handled and submit periodic reports for evaluation and management decision by supporting in preparing monthly and annual reports of section and reviewing KPIs of the section.

·        Contribute on internal and external audit for planning section service.

• Co-ordinate between consultants and contractors to assist in solving technical/ physical planning issues from Planning point of view.
• Contribute in achievement of Department Objectives by executing / achieving the KPIs assigned by line manager and submit relevant supporting documents during KPIs evaluation.
• Execute other assignments incidental to job role as and when required & assigned by management.
