Job Position – Transport In Charge
Company Name – Gulf Model School
To oversee and manage the school’s transportation operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in school transport management, ensuring safety, punctuality, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily school transport operations, ensuring timely and safe movement of students and staff
Manage, schedule and monitor bus routes, drivers, and conductors
Coordinate with RTA, KHDA, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with school transport regulations
Conduct regular safety checks, vehicle inspections and ensure timely maintenance
Maintain accurate records of bus logs, student lists, driver rosters, and transport documentation
Handle parent queries related to transport routes, timings and safety concerns
Ensure all drivers and conductors follow school and safety protocols
Prepare transport reports for school management
Coordinate with HR for driver shifts, leaves, documentation and renewals
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school transport management
Strong understanding of RTA / School Transport guidelines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage a large team of drivers and conductors
Strong problem-solving skills with quick decision-making ability
Good command of English (Arabic/Hindi/Malayalam is an added advantage)
