Position: Accountant
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting in the UAE/MENA region, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Qualification: Master’s in Accounting/Certified Accountants
SAP experience is preferred! Experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) is preferred, not mandatory.
Salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000/- PM
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of Accounts to complete the financial accounting of a particular product line within the standard deadlines.
2. Assist the Vice President – Operations with various ad-hoc reporting requirements.
3. Preparation of monthly MIS reports, Balance Sheet schedules, Annual Budgets and handle external & Internal Auditors.
4. Review and analyze project costs, identify revenue leakage, and submit cost and revenue synopsis to the corporate FP&A team on a month basis.
5. Ensure company policies are adhered to by the accounting personnel.
6. Co-ordinate with the internal and external auditors, responding to their queries within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Any other responsibility, as may be assigned from time to time.
This role has a huge potential to gradually evolve into a senior role depending upon performance.
