Job Position – Accountant
Location : Al Badiya, Dubai
A dynamic player in the timber industry, specializing in the import of plywood from Asia and Europe and re-exporting to the Middle East, alongside local sales.
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounting (AP, AR, GL, Reporting).
Handle all VAT filing and compliance, specifically for import, export, and reverse charge mechanisms.
Prepare and manage all customs documentation for international shipments.
Liaise with freight forwarders and ensure smooth customs clearance.
The ideal candidate has:
Proven experience as an accountant in a UAE-based import/export company.
Expertise in UAE VAT and customs documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex, multi-country transactions.
