Position required: Accountant

Mabani Steel LLC, based in Ras Al Khaimah, hiring an Accountant for the Responsibilities of performing cost analysis and preparing monthly reports. The candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Primary responsibilities

Planning, Studying and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labor and overhead.

Conducts monthly inventories stock count and monitors cycle count program

Assist in producing monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis

Supporting on general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management, bank reconciliation, financial reporting and balance sheet management.

Preparation of the monthly bank reconciliation and related financing facility schedules.

Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing historical data.

Identifying areas of cost optimization and reduction.

Support audit and review related matters of the small branch of the Company.

Providing management with monthly aging and other related reports of receivables and advances

Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the seniors.

Requirements

Candidate must be available in UAE.

Minimum Part-Qualified ACCA/CA or qualified MBA.

Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills sound understanding of accounting principles including basic understanding of IFRS/IAS.

Minimum 3 years of solid accounting Experience.

Strong business acumen, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.

Ability to speak, read and write English

Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
