Job Position – Assistant Accountant

Location – Sajaa, UAE
Requirements:
– Experience in a similar field within the UAE
– Knowledge of local customs & port clearance rules
– UAE Driving License is required
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
– Own cross-functional commercial processes and financial results.
– Prepare and analyze monthly finance reports.
– Manage initiatives across all lines of spends and build trackers and tools to monitor and control actuals, accruals, and ensure completeness and accuracy of recorded transactions.
– Oversee all types of reconciliation to align supplier liabilities, rebates, customer receivables, retailer liabilities and their related collections.
– Monitor and resolve discrepancies in account reconciliation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date balances. Support tax and auditing activities.
– Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
– Maintain a thorough understanding of VAT regulations and keep abreast of legislative changes in the UAE.
– Oversee VAT compliance and ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting and payment.
