Job Position – Assistant Category Buyer
Company Name – MyShops
Location : Dubai, UAE
To support procurement operations across key retail categories including Mobility, Accessories, IT Products, Gaming, Health and Beauty, Electronics, and Home Appliances (MDA & SDA). You’ll work closely with leading distributors and brands in the UAE, driving smart buying decisions that impact growth, margin, and availability.
What You Will Be Doing:
-Manage end-to-end buying for assigned categories and brands
-Build strong relationships with distributors and suppliers
-Negotiate pricing, terms, rebates, and promotional deals
-Track market trends, competitor pricing, and product availability
-Ensure smooth coordination on stock, delivery, and fulfilment
-Support demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimisation
-Analyse sales performance and improve product assortment
-Source products locally for key categories when required
-Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes
You Must Be Bringing:
-3–5 years UAE experience in retail buying / procurement
-Strong network with UAE distributors and brand partners
-Proven negotiation and competitive deal-making skills
-Experience across Mobility, Accessories, IT, Gaming, Health & Beauty, Electronics and Home Appliances (MDA & SDA).
-Strong analytical mindset with Excel proficiency
-Good understanding of local market sourcing
-Strong communication and coordination skills
