Job Position – Assistant Commercial Manager
Company Name – Gulf Dunes Landscaping
Location : Abu Dhabi
Provide cost advise, prepare cost benchmarks, cost estimation and Budget planning
Assume a leading role in managing commercial efforts of Projects and Developments and be a proactive member of the Project Team.
Managing Project Budgets including regular cost reporting and budget reconciliation
Maintaining regular cost reports, change management log and payment logs.
Provide assistance in devising procurement, tendering and contracts strategies.
Leading and managing tendering process including preparing documentation for tenders, evaluating tender returns and preparation of the tender reports.
Drafting Letters of Award, construction contracts and consultancy service agreement.
Managing all post contract commercial efforts including an oversight of monthly interim payments, variations assessment including negotiation with contractors and preparation of full substantiating documentation.
Maintaining insurances and bonds logs.
Become a custodian of the Change Management Process.
Supporting the review/analysis of quantum for contractors’ claims.
Preparing and negotiating final accounts.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Degree in quantity surveying, construction management or equivalent.
10 years’ experience in the UAE or the wider GCC region
Familiar with FIDIC contracts
Experience in both pre- and post- contract stages of projects.
Experience in a client, PMC or Cost Consultancy environment
