Job Position – Audit Assistant
Company Name – BMS Corporate
Job Location: Muscat, Oman
Responsible for supporting the audit team in collecting and organizing financial data as well as preparing reports and statements. This generally requires experience with accounting and strong analytical and organizational skills. Audit Assistants are expected to collect data and information by gathering, analyzing, and then presenting it in such a manner that it gets easily understood.
Responsibilities
-Assist auditing personnel with financial, data, and report analysis.
-Audit financial documents, and statements.
-Find, and analyze financial data
-Audit accounts for accuracy.
-Correct documents and statements regarding finance.
-Gather customer information for analysis
-Maintains company auditing standards.
Requirements and Skills
-The incumbent should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or some related area with 5 years of experience in auditing or a similar role.
-The staff should possess strong analytical skills when going through data to find repetitive patterns and trends.
-The employee must have good communication skills, both in writing and verbal abilities.
-Organizational skills with a high attention to detail are required for computer skills in spreadsheet and database applications.
-The employee must have experience with accounting software programs and the ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles.
