Job Description
Hiring to appoint an outstanding AV Technician to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.
About the Role
As AV Technician you will support the organisation and delivery of high-quality live events across the school.
Main duties will include:
- Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for all school theatre and outdoor productions
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute AV needs for each school event
- Attend rehearsals and performances to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment
- Train and supervise student volunteers who assist with AV operations
- Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and supplies
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in AV technology or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of AV editing equipment and software
- Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills
- Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
