Job Position – AWS Cloud Admin

Location: Abu Dhabi
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in cloud technology (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred. Proven track record with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Advanced AWS administration knowledge. Proficient in Linux administration, networking (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS), and managing cloud-based infrastructure and platforms. Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python and Bash. Strong background in managing security and compliance in cloud environments. Demonstrated ability in handling full lifecycle management from provisioning to decommissioning of cloud resources. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components including virtual machines, storage, networking, and associated services across platforms like AWS. Automation and Provisioning: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. CI/CD Pipeline Support: Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Security and Compliance: Implement robust security controls including firewalls, identity management, and encryption to protect cloud resources. Ensure all cloud infrastructure complies with relevant regulations and organizational policies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance. Implement solutions for monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively manage the health and availability of services. Incident Management: Respond to and resolve technical issues in cloud services, ensuring rapid recovery from incidents and adherence to SLAs. Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize cloud resource usage and cost to ensure efficient operations. Technical Leadership: Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices. Provide guidance on advanced administration, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
