Back End Developer – Blockchain
A proprietary algorithmic trading organisation; service provider for financial institutions.
The organisation office is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and have been operating since 2017 with a current team consisting of a Partner, a Trader and a Software Developer.
Profile
They are looking for a Back End Developer, who has a passion for trading/investments (preferably for crypto-assets). You will be based in the United Arab Emirates. Nevertheless, the team is distributed around the world and they offer highly flexible working times. This flexibility is possible thanks to the individual’s responsibility and communication skills to the team members, and the same is expected from you.
People we work with have the biggest impact on the work environment and that mistakes need to be made in order to learn. Therefore friendliness, tolerance and humility are must-haves to be part of the team.
They make extensive use of open-source software like Python and Pandas and are also keen contributors to the open-source community.
Requirements
– As a Back End Developer you will need a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience
– Experience in frameworks to backtest and execute trading strategies live
– Experience in different trading strategies
– Experience in market analysis and market-making strategies
– Proficiency in Pandas
– Fluency in English
– On-call support (not on weekends)
Desirable
– Python experience
– Knowledge of order books
– Knowledge of order-types
Character
– Excellent team player
– You must be trustworthy, loyal, independent and have a keen willingness to learn and improve
Location
– United Arab Emirates – (Remote work)
Compensation
– $60,000-$100,000 – depending on experience
