Job Position – Business Development Executive
Company Name – Cake Social
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Identifying new sales leads
– Pitching products and/or services
– Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
– Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
– Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
– Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
– Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
– Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
– Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
– Developing quotes and proposals
– Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
– Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
REQUIREMENTS:
– Familiar with UAE Market
– Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior
– Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services
– Professional yet affable disposition
– Neat, well-groomed appearance
– Great networking skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication
– Resourceful, with outstanding research skills
– Emboldened by challenges
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar
– Extensive sales experience in events or boutique cake shops
– 2-5 years’ quota carrying sales experience
– Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Currently based in Dubai, UAE
– UAE Driver’s license holder
