About the job

Scope of Work:

·        24×7 Monitoring & Operation of the Wifi Network deployed at Customer Locations in Dubai.

Network Description:

·        The Wifi network is deployed at the Customer venues, providing Wifi connectivity to the public & the Pavilions.

·        Network consists of Cisco Access Points connected to Cisco WLCs deployed over 2 pairs of Cisco WLCs deployed in HA.

·        The APs are logically connected to the network via Cisco Catalyst Switches.

·        WLCs are connected to Telecomms Core over EoGRE. Access control, IP assignments & internet connectivity for the network is provided by Customer Core.

·        Cisco PI will be used for monitoring & configuring of the network.

L2 Operational Activities to be covered:

·        24×7 Monitoring of the access network.

·        Report alarms to the L1 team as per Customer policies for fault clearance as required.

·        Support L1 team to clear the network alarms.

·        Configure / Reconfigure Access Points & Switches to support fault clearance by L1 team.

·        Provide daily/weekly /monthly fault report

·        Provide inventory reports

·        Monitor WLCs & take appropriate action, including L1 attendance as required to clear WLC faults.

·        Regular backup of inventories, Software, Configurations, etc as required for the network restoration use.

·        Identify faults / issues which requires L3/TAC support and create TAC support tickets. Coordinate with TAC for resolution.

·        Monitor Client traffic and identify network congestions, performance, coverage holes and report to Customer management with recommendations.

·        Coordinate with Cisco/Site/Customer Wifi Access team / Customer Core team as necessary to identify and clear faults

·        Provide RCA for reported faults.

·        Work with Customer ticketing & upper NMS system for operational activities.

·        Trouble shoot, rectify & restore connectivity issues with Customer upper NMSs, Reporting tools, etc
