Job Position – Civil Engineer

To set out and organize the works in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
Day to day supervision of progress of execution activities
Preparing daily progress reports.
Prepare Project requirements like plant, materials.
Should have experiences in preparation of method statements.
Should have knowledge in authority specifications.
Always Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work within strict deadlines.
Overseeing execution of the work as per approved drawings, attending site issues.
To liaise with the sub-contractor, consultant, and client, as necessary for site work progress.
Arranging for inspection of works with Client/Consultant, in coordination with QA/QC Teams.
To attend coordination meetings organized by clients and consultants etc.
To conduct daily briefing with the site team to follow up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks.
To take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time.
To assist Project/Construction Manager in the supervision and management of site activities to assigned project.
To liaise with the project planning engineer regarding construction programmes.
To conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors, where necessary.
To evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction, which affect the quality of works performed.
To coordinate the handing over of completed works to clients and completion of the necessary rectification works, in accordance with the project specification.
To check the materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements.
To provide technical support to other site team members and resolve technical issues with Client and internal department staff.
To supervise and counsel the front-line supervisor.
To provide measurement and valuation, in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate.
