Job Position – Civil Estimation Engineer
Company Name –
ASTRA is looking for a Civil Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing cost estimates, proposals, and technical documentation for Oil & Gas and civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid submissions.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and review tender drawings.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze project scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure complete tender documentation.
• Prepare technical proposals, method statements, and manpower/equipment plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in estimation for Oil & Gas or civil construction projects.
• Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and estimation tools (AutoCAD, PlanSwift, etc.).
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
