Job Position – Custom Clearance Officer/ Logistics Controller
Company Name – Memaar Building Systems
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Qualifications & Competencies
-Prior working experience in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah is mandatory.
-3–4 years experience in logistics/shipping or customs clearance.
-Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.
-Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
-Good English communication skills; Arabic language is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
-Handle customs clearance for Free Zone, local, GCC, and export shipments.
-Prepare required documents: Bills of Entry, customs invoices, export/import documents.
-Coordinate and book shipments (land, sea, air).
-Track shipments and resolve delays or border issues.
-Ensure compliance with customs regulations and Letter of Credit requirements.
-Collect and verify shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Air way bill, Truck consignee note).
-Monitor customs duties and arrange deposit refunds.
-Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation.
-Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, banks, and internal teams.
