Job Position – Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description
Protect the organization from cyber attacks by monitoring systems and evaluating threats as they arise.
Responsibilities include:
· Reviewing computer networks and identifying any potential vulnerabilities.
· Installing the necessary software in order to protect it from unauthorized access, and documenting detections so that future breaches can be mitigated efficiently.
· Analyzing and reviewing logs and reports for anomalies.
· Work with the SOC team to fine tune monitoring and alerts and develop new use cases.
· Stay on top of current security trends and news and ensure the environment is not vulnerable from them.
· Defend the organization’s computer hardware, software and other systems from theft, loss and other cyberattacks.
· Review existing configuration and recommend any changes as per best practices.
· Document work to ensure continuity of processes even in absence.
· Initiate new projects with the SOC and participate in workshops to implement requirements.
· Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
· Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standards.
Requirements and skills:
· Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
· Experience in information security or related field
· Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
· Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
· Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
· Understanding of hacking life cycle and Mitre Att@ck Framework.
· Understanding of industry frameworks such as CIS, ISO 27000, NIST, PCI DSS
Tools and Technologies:
· Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Endpoint Protection, Email Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Privilege Access Management, Password Manager, Firewall and Network Management.
