Job Position – Electromechanical Engineer

To support and optimize our production systems, including PLC-controlled plastic bottle manufacturing lines and lube oil filling machines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of electrical and mechanical expertise, with proven experience in automated packaging systems, preventive maintenance, and process troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
PLC Programming & Troubleshooting
Develop, modify, and maintain PLC logic (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent)
Diagnose and resolve automation faults in real-time production environments
Plastic Bottle Production Machinery
Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of blow molding and injection molding machines
Optimize machine parameters for cycle time, quality, and energy efficiency
Lube Oil Filling & Packaging Systems
Maintain and troubleshoot filling lines, capping machines, labelling systems, and conveyors
Ensure accurate fill volumes and packaging integrity across SKUs
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop and execute maintenance schedules for electromechanical assets
Monitor equipment health using sensors, vibration analysis, and thermal imaging
Technical Documentation & SOPs
Create and update wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and control schematics
Draft SOPs for machine operation, safety, and troubleshooting
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all systems meet IMS, ISO, API, and internal quality standards
Support HSE audits and implement corrective actions
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and packaging systems
Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI interfaces
Must be located in commutable distance to Sharjah, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
Familiarity with plastic molding technologies and lube oil filling equipment
Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Electricity
High-level Analytical Skills for problem-solving and system optimization
Certification in PLC systems is a plus
