We are looking to hire an Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for defining the overall architecture landscape for all integration projects for our Client based in Dubai

This position is a long-term contract and annually renewable contract.

The role sits within the IT Department and reports directly to the Head of IT.

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect passionate about creating bespoke architectural landscape and managing application integration with the use of best technologies and drive the whole architectural landscape optimization. You should also have experience working within an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the target architectures, and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services across the organization whilst delivering the required business outcomes
  • Assess the current technical applications within the organization and define integration process required to successfully build out the solution
  • Create business architecture models that reflect organizations strategies and goals
  • Manage end-to-end enterprise-level solutions integration projects
  • Manage the integration of various existing sub-systems to the group level centralized solution
  • Manage both technical and functional aspects of the assigned projects
  • Search for areas where cost reduction opportunities may be available, such as cases where workflow may be duplicated across departments or sectors whose processes may be diverging from corporate mission
  • Contribute ideas and insight to help optimize corporate information management resources to stay current with evolving business trends and new technologies
  • Work with a team of technical consultants/solution architects supporting solution architecture
  • Coordinate with IT director and other technical managers to oversee the strategic development of internal network
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert, thoroughly understanding technologies, features, functions, while being able to communicate to all enterprise-level stakeholders

 

Knowledge, skills & experience:

 

  • Expertise in SOA and other enterprises architectural best practices
  • Should have 12 – 15 years of experience with 3+ years as an Enterprise architect in managing complex technical solutions & integration projects
  • Strong experience in Middleware technology
  • Strong Techno-functional Solution Integration experience for enterprise-level organizations
  • Experience within Solution Design & Architecture
  • Experience working within mobile, cloud and infrastructure solutions environments
  • Experience in reviewing and selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutions
  • Robust knowledge within Security Architecture
  • Proven track record of driving and leading large-scale architectural projects throughout an entire business through to completion
  • Experience of working with 3rd party Technical and Application Architects
  • Exceptional strategic planning and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong communications skills and stakeholder’s management skills
  • Graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • TOGAF Certification will have an advantage
  • Keen attention to detail
