Job Position – Head Chef

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse kitchen team.
-Design and implement innovative menus that align with Otoro’s vision and standards.
-Ensure consistent food quality and presentation at all times.
-Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and ordering.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
-Monitor food cost and implement strategies to stay within budget.
-Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service delivery.
-Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs to enhance their skills and career growth.
-Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary position, preferably in fine dining or Japanese cuisine.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
-Passion for culinary innovation and creativity.
-Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
-Knowledge of local food safety regulations.
