Job Position – Head of Arabic
Company Name – Amity School
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for a Head of Arabic Department at Amity School Dubai. The Head of Arabic Department will be responsible for overseeing the Arabic department, developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and supporting the professional development of staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Arabic or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching Arabic
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational setting with experience in KHDA inspections
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, provide constructive feedback to staff, and develop and implement effective strategies
Familiarity with current trends and best practices related to Arabic language instruction
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community members from diverse backgrounds
Certification in educational leadership, teaching and learning, or a related field is preferred
Experience in an international school setting is preferred
