Job Summary: The Health and Quality Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Quality Management:
– Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards.
– Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
– Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards.
– Collaborate with various departments to establish quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Health & Safety:
– Develop and implement Health and Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
– Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks in the workplace.
– Ensure that all employees receive adequate training in health and safety practices.
– Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Environmental Management:
– Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001.
– Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
– Promote environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives within the organization.
– Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to mitigate negative effects.

Training & Development:
– Organize training programs to enhance employees’ awareness of health, safety, and quality standards.
– Ensure continuous improvement by promoting a culture of quality and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the UAE and in industries such as facility management or construction.

Certifications:
– NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.
– ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 auditor certifications are preferred.
– OSHAD practitioner certification is an advantage.
– Certified First Aider is desirable.

Skills:
– Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards, particularly within Abu Dhabi.
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
