Job Position – Housekeeping Coordinator

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations and a passion for service excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
– Allocate daily room and task assignments to housekeeping teams
– Follow up on room discrepancy reports and ensure timely resolution
– Maintain staff attendance, duty rosters, Off days, and Public Holidays
– Coordinate with HR and update employee data in the HR system
– Monitor store inventories and control wastage
– Handle guest requests and ensure high service standards
– Manage Lost & Found operations with proper documentation and reporting
– Supervise housekeeping office operations and incoming calls
– Issue keys in line with hotel security procedures
– Communicate guest requests, VIP arrivals, and guest profiles to teams
– Perform administrative and reporting duties
– Organize special tasks and extra duties
– Report and follow up on maintenance issues
– Liaise with Front Office, Reception, and Guest Relations
– Ensure clear communication across all shifts
– Control staff dry cleaning and guest laundry movement
– Update systems to maximize room availability
– Handle departmental emergencies professionally
– Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards
– Perform any other duties assigned by Management
Requirements:
. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reputed hotel
. Strong coordination, administrative, and communication skills
. Knowledge of housekeeping systems and hotel operations
. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
. Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
