Job Position – Import & Customs Clearance Officer
Company Name – White Aluminium Enterprises
Join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in
overseeing and streamlining all import and custom clearance processes, ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations and authorities.
-Maintaining schedule of imports shipments.
-Coordination with Customs Clearance vendors, Shipping Lines and UAE ports & airports for customs clearance of shipments.
-Communication with Forwarders for raising RFQ and creating comparison sheets for RFQs based on relevant criteria.
-Raising payment requests to vendors.
-Internal coordination between departments (Sales, Stores, Finance).
-Familiarity with vendors working in this segment is a must.
Qualifications and Required Competencies:
-Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and related fields
-Strong coordination and communication abilities
-Strong decision-making skills.
-Time management and problem-solving skills.
-Skilled in SAP system and Microsoft Excel
-At least 5yrs experience in Import and custom clearance
