As IT Support Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless access and support to various platforms used by the company. You will be responsible for managing support tickets from internal teams, addressing utilization related issues, and providing technical assistance in areas such as access controls, networking, and general IT support.
What you will be doing?
Configuration and Maintenance
Office Software Suites
Cloud EC2 instances
Enterprise solutions management
Hardware configurations and mobile device management configurations
Support Ticket Management:
Efficiently manage and prioritize support tickets related to utilization issues, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather detailed information on reported issues
Access Controls:
Set up and manage user access to various platforms, applications, and network resources.
Implement and maintain access control policies to ensure data security and compliance.
Networking:
Troubleshoot networking issues, including connectivity problems and configuration errors.
Collaborate with the IT team to optimize network performance and security.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment and software.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of access control procedures, network configurations, and support resolutions.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to ongoing projects.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide status updates and gather additional information when needed.
Qualifications:
Must be able to learn new solutions quickly and learn how to adapt them to current operational requirements.
Proven experience in an IT support role for over 5 years, with a focus on technical support, access controls and networking.
Strong understanding of access control principles, network protocols, and IT security best practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
