Job Position – Inventory Controller
Industry: Maritime / Shipping
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 3k-5k
To manage marine spares, consumables, tools, and stores across our fleet and shore-based facilities, ensuring optimal stock levels and smooth vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage inventory of marine spares, tools, stores, and consumables for vessels and warehouses
-Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
-Coordinate with Technical Superintendents, Chief Engineers, and Procurement teams
-Maintain accurate records using PMS / ERP inventory systems
-Analyze consumption trends, lead times, and critical spare usage
-Conduct periodic stock audits onboard vessels and at shore facilities
-Coordinate logistics, deliveries, customs clearance, and global suppliers
-Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and optimize inventory
-Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marine Engineering, or related field
-Minimum 3+ years of experience in inventory / supply chain management (maritime preferred)
-Knowledge of marine spare parts, tools, and shipboard inventory systems
-Experience with PMS / inventory software
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-Proficient in MS Excel
-UAE Driving License – Mandatory
Preferred Skills:
-Experience working with technical or procurement departments
-Knowledge of marine warehouse tools & goods (high priority)
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Good communication and coordination skills
