Job Position -IT Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to manage and support our internal IT infrastructure, network systems, and end-user services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. The role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
– Provide end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of all IT services.
– Install and configure software and hardware systems.
– Oversee network security and ensure data protection measures are in place.
– Collaborate with other departments to support technology-related projects.
– Monitor IT infrastructure performance and take proactive measures to ensure uptime.
– Prepare and maintain technical documentation for IT systems and procedures.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
– Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and network protocols.
– Experience with database management and cloud solutions.
– Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
– Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices is a plus.
– Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft are advantageous.
