Job Summary:
To lead the design, implementation, and management of Kitopi’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational efficiency, and system security. The IT Systems Engineer oversees system architecture, vendor management, team leadership, and disaster recovery strategies to deliver high-performing and compliant IT services.
What You’ll Do
- Provide on-site technical support for restaurants and Cloud Kitchens, covering POS systems, printers, networks, CCTV cameras, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent technical issues and ensure systems are fully operational.
- Install and configure hardware and software, including POS terminals, network devices, and surveillance systems, based on operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, installations, and system configurations.
- Communicate with restaurant staff and managers to assess IT issues and deliver timely solutions.
- Offer basic training and support to staff on using IT systems and applications.
- Escalate unresolved technical problems to the relevant internal teams while providing interim workarounds.
- Travel between multiple sites as needed and respond to emergency support requests during operational hours.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in field service, hospitality, or F&B environments.
- Proficient in troubleshooting POS systems, printers, basic network setups (LAN/Wi-Fi), CCTV, and end-user devices.
- Working knowledge of Windows (Linux is a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to commute between locations regularly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple support tickets effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, based on operational needs.
