Job Position – Jr. Quantity Surveyor

An Interior Design & Fit-out company in Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:
-Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for fit-out projects.
Collaborate with project teams to establish and manage project budgets.
– Procurement:
Assist in the procurement of materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Evaluate and negotiate quotations and contracts with vendors.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
-Measurement and Valuation:
Measure and quantify the materials and work required for each project.
Prepare and submit progress valuations and payment applications.
Review and validate subcontractor payment applications.
– Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project records, including invoices, contracts, and correspondence.
Assist in preparing final accounts and settlements.
-Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Provide cost-related advice and support to project teams.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, quantity surveying software).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
