Job Position – Junior Accountant

Ideal International Power Tools FZE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1+ years of experience in the Shipping & Logistics industry, either in the UAE or in their home country. If you have a solid accounting background and are confident in managing financial operations efficiently, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepared and maintained shipping-related financial documentation, including freight invoices, port charges, and agent bills
– Recorded day-to-day financial transactions specific to the shipping and logistics industry using Tally
– Manage UAE Customs & Port Clearance
– Order Processing & Delivery Follow-up
– Maintain daily accounting records including bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
– Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
– Manage accounts payable and receivable
– Assist in Process payroll and handle VAT filings
– Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
– Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
– Collaborate with internal departments for seamless financial workflows
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
– 1+ years of Accounting experience in the Shipping & Logistics sector (UAE or home country)
– Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or other CRM systems
– Strong understanding of VAT regulations, financial reporting, and auditing standards
– High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
