Job Position – Junior Sous Chef
Company Name – Soho Beach Restaurant
The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Head Chef in food costing.
• Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring that they are cooked to the highest standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Train and develop the kitchen team, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure that food costs are managed within budget.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients are stored and used in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure that it is kept in good working order.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with the rest of the team.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge in French, Italian, Mediterranean, Spanish cuisines.
• Ability to manage a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Able to join us immediately.
