Job Position – Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise stewarding staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Provide training on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders for replenishment when necessary.
• Conduct inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
• Coordinate closely with the Head Chef to support kitchen operations.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleanliness and sanitation promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments, including kitchen and housekeeping, to maintain overall cleanliness and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP with a related certification
• A solid understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices in a food service environment
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards
• Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel
