Job Position – L1 Tech Support

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a technology support role preferred.
-Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ManageEngine) is a plus.
-Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Key Responsibilities:
-ITSM Tool Usage: Utilize the ITSM tool (e.g., ManageEngine) to log, track, and manage incoming technology support requests efficiently.
-First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for technology-related inquiries and issues, including hardware and software problems.
-Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems reported by event participants and staff using the ITSM tool. Resolve issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the event.
-Remote Support: Provide remote assistance to users, guiding them through problem-solving steps using the ITSM tool and other remote support tools.
-Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support requests in the ITSM tool, including details of the issue, steps taken to resolve it, and any follow-up actions required.
-Hardware and Software Support: Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers and software applications used during the event.
-Escalation: Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams while maintaining effective communication with the user.
-Security: Follow security protocols and best practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of event-related data and systems.
-Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, maintain a professional demeanor, and exhibit strong communication skills when interacting with event participants and colleagues
