Job Overview
A friendly, collaborative team seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Landscape Graphics Specialist to join this small but dynamic graphics department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D modelling and rendering software, capable of creating high-quality visualisations that bring our landscape designs to life. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with other team members to deliver top-quality visuals that align with WAHO’s design sensibilities and company standards are valued.
Primary Activities:
– Work closely with senior designers to develop landscape design rendering, schematic design and design development and production work for the allocated project(s)
– Collaborate efficiently with the BIM and CAD team to develop the detailed design works and production of the necessary selection of imagery, CAD/ BIM plans, CAD/ BIM details, working sketches, sketch-up modelling.
– Develop design and production materials under the direct supervision of senior staff.
– Prepare design documentation packs for construction contract tendering, including detailed design drawings, documentation, and technical specifications.
– Coordinate the internal design, engineering, and documentation work and
interact with other disciplines, e.g. Architects, graphic artists, designers,
engineers, etc.
Technical Competencies:
– Proficiency in SketchUp, including detailed model creation, working with plugins and extensions, design, and detailing.
– Expertise in V-Ray for creating high-quality renders, strong knowledge of the asset library for landscape designs with a strong understanding of lighting, materials, and rendering techniques.
– Experience with Lumion for creating 3D renderings and animations, with an emphasis on fast rendering times and photorealistic results and with comprehensive knowledge of the asset library.
– Familiarity with Enscape, especially for real-time rendering and walkthroughs.
– Excellent knowledge of Photoshop post-production and creation of colour master plan.
– Strong working knowledge of Revit for BIM (Building Information Modeling), including architectural design, documentation, and integration with other tools would be a significant advantage.
-Added advantage of being familiar with modelling applications such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Blender.
Position Requirements:
– University Degree – Bachelors – in landscape architecture or architecture
– 3 years’ work experience on various scales of landscape design projects, including experience working on UAE based-projects
– High proficiency in spoken and written English
– Capable of working in a collaborative environment
– Able to work efficiently to achieve set deadlines
