Job Position – Lead / Senior HVAC Design Engineer (MEP Contractor)

Location – Dubai, UAE | Full-Time

A well-established MEP Contracting Company in Dubai seeking a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer with strong expertise in detailed design, shop drawings, and site execution for fast-track, large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:
– HVAC shop drawings, coordinated BIM (LOD 300/400), as-built documentation
– Cooling load calculations (HAP/TRACE) & consultant design validation
– System design: Chilled Water, VRF, DX, Ventilation, Pressurization, Smoke Extraction
– Duct sizing, ESP/static pressure, air balancing
– Equipment selection & technical schedules (AHU, FCU, Chillers, Pumps, Fans)
– Material submittals, method statements & technical submissions
– Site coordination, routing, clash resolution & execution
– Compliance with DM, DEWA, Civil Defense & ASHRAE
– Value engineering & cost optimization
– Testing & commissioning (TAB), system performance
– Coordination with consultants, suppliers & QA/QC
– Site troubleshooting & design modifications

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
– 8–15 years UAE HVAC experience (MEP Contracting mandatory)
– Expertise: duct design, ESP, static regain, chilled water piping, pump head, psychrometrics
– Knowledge of ventilation & smoke systems (Civil Defense)
– Tools: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, HAP/TRACE
– Strong in shop drawings, submittals & authority approvals

Preferred:
– Experience in towers, malls, hospitals, industrial/district cooling
– Green Building / LEED knowledge
– Fast-track project experience
– UAE Driving License
